Fotoboek – Hier Ligt Mijn Hart (‘Ier Lêt Me ’Art’)
Langs de Noordzeekust verandert het landschap van Scheveningen voortdurend, gevormd door wind, water en tijd. Scheveningen ligt aan de kust van Den Haag, een plek waar maritieme geschiedenis, wisselend weer en bijzonder licht het landschap bepalen.
Al vele jaren fotografeer ik dit kustgebied. Ik word steeds weer aangetrokken door het veranderende licht, de zee en het leven langs de kust. In de loop van de tijd groeide dit uit tot een langlopend fotografisch project.
Hier Ligt Mijn Hart brengt een selectie van deze foto’s samen en laat zien hoe landschap, plek en herinnering met elkaar verbonden zijn. De publicatie van het boek staat gepland voor najaar 2026.

Photo Book – Hier Ligt Mijn Hart (“Here Lies My Heart”)
Along the North Sea coast, the landscape of Scheveningen is constantly changing, shaped by wind, water and time.Located on the North Sea coast of The Hague, Scheveningen is a place where maritime history, changing weather and shifting light define the landscape. For many years I have photographed this historic seaside district, drawn by the shifting light, the sea and the rhythms of life along the shore. Over time this work developed into a long-term photographic project. Hier Ligt Mijn Hart (“Here Lies My Heart”) brings together a curated selection of these images, exploring the relationship between landscape, place and memory. Publication of the book is planned for autumn 2026.
